"MASTERING THE ART OF INFLUENCE: How to Lead During Challenging Times" presented by David Rabiner. The two great challenges to leadership growth are self-assessment and translating qualities into behaviors. David teaches how to assess ourselves honestly and to behave in ways that we admire in others. If people don’t find us credible, they will resist us and only do as much with and for us as they have to. David then focuses on three key principles of influence and credibility: Interacting positively, establishing an atmosphere of trust, and building a track record of success. By practicing those principles and persevering, we can become the kind of leader that others want to follow, especially when times are tough and we need people to do more with less.
